My friend Rhobie is studying here in Goldcoast and came to Sydney for the weekend. 

The last couple of days we camped on Fraser Island and drove around the beaches and in the forests in jeeps. I made some awesome friends in my car from England and Sweden.

The next couple of days we spent on a boat just driving around and stopping to snorkel. We also stopped at White Haven Beach and it was by far the prettiest place I've ever seen in my life. We saw some sting rays along shore and I also swam with a sea turtle!

The second and third days we spent in this cool hostel in the forest.

We also did a tour through the rainforest. 

We also found this cool creek to swim in where you could swing off a rope into the water. 

The first day of Spring Break we went snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. I think the colorful clams that opened and closed when you swam by were my favorites.

Here's me getting some surfing lesson from Daniel. I pretty much just got smashed by waves and had little success. It's a lot harder than I thought it'd be and I might consider going to a more beginner friendly area next time.

We finally got to visit the kangaroos! Some of them were tiny and cute but others were huge and actually scary. I got scratched by one and it caused a scar but I'd say that it's a pretty cool scar to show off when I get home. Also there were babies in pouches but the moms wouldn't let us feed them and would just take all the bread for themselves.
